Square Paintings

We get asked for square canvases more often than any other shape, and honestly we understand exactly why. A square painting sits calmly on a wall, with no long edge dragging your eye off to one side, and it slots into the spots where a rectangle only ever seems to fight the space. Everything here is hand-painted in oil by our own studio, start to finish. Squares are far and away the easiest shape to hang in a grid, because the spacing stays even and the eye reads the whole set as one clean block. Framing and Finish

We finish the edges carefully so the sides look clean whether you choose to frame the piece or hang it completely bare, and most people leave ours unframed for a more modern look. If your room runs toward monochrome, our black white abstract paintings work especially well as squares, since the shape keeps a high-contrast composition feeling steady and grounded rather than busy.
